General features of the Lochting Software Platform

The platform is the foundation of Lochting. It is the central place where you set up all your sales channels uniformly and manage your communication yourself. Your webshop and app, advertising screens, order kiosk, vending machine, product database. Everything is connected, no more separate tools. It is equipped with a completely open API, allowing other software integrators to easily connect to Lochting. That way you can work with a fully integrated solution. One platform to easily manage your communication yourself, thanks to ready-to-use templates and a database with products and content. Lochting makes it easy for you while saving time and money.

Lochting is a user-friendly and intuitive platform. It has been developed in such a way that you can get to grips with the functions quickly. Clear tutorials and manuals guide you through. You can also attend regular training sessions, during which you will receive useful tips & tricks.

Lochting connects all your devices, applications and vendors. At the heart of Lochting is a very powerful software platform. It is equipped with a completely open API, allowing other software integrators to easily connect to Lochting. This way you can work with a fully integrated solution.

Daily imports of images and product information are performed. Over 1,000 images are uploaded and over 30,000 products are updated monthly.

  • You are not yet a customer: a subscription will give you access to the online platform. Contact us by phone or mail to become a client. You will then receive a login and password.
  • You are already a client: every subscription entitles you to access the platform. Contact us and request a login and password.

You will gain access to the Lochting platform by logging in with the email address and password received at https://platform.lochting.com/.

If you can’t remember your password, click on “Forgot your password?”. Then enter your email address and request a new password. You will then receive an email with a link to the page on the platform where you can set a new password.

You can see an overview of all devices via Company > Devices. Here you can see all available devices with name, type, group, orientation, branch, status, MAC address, on and off time.

Only a platform administrator can see and assign an overview of the different roles in your company. As a company manager, you can only see the current role of users via Company > Users > User Detail page. Please contact your platform administrator to change the roles of users.

An overview of all the branches within your company can be seen via Company > Branches. Here you can see all available branches with name, address, zip code, city, status, VAT number, phone number, APB number, RIZIV number, URL, type, languages and e-mail address.

  • Via the search function: enter a term by which you want to search for the branch. You can search by name, address, postal code, city, status, VAT number, telephone number, APB number, RIZIV number, URL, type, languages and e-mail address.
  • Via the filters: click on the filter symbol next to the search field. A field appears in which you can type a keyword/search phrase. You can also combine several filters from different search fields.

Only a platform administrator can add a new branch to your company. Please contact your platform administrator to create a branch.

An overview of all users within your company can be seen via Company > Users. Here you see all registered users with name, email, branch and function.

  • Via the search function: enter a term on which you want to search for the user. You can search by name, e-mail, branch and function.
  • Via the filters: click on the filter symbol next to the search field. A field appears in which you can type a keyword/search phrase. You can also combine multiple filters from different search fields.

The different roles on the platform are “Platform administrator”, “Branch manager”, “Company manager” and “Support agent”, with the corresponding rights and functionalities.

Go to the overview of all users within your company. Click on “Create user”. Next, enter the new user’s name, email, branch, position and password. Click “Create” to add the new user to the platform.

  • In public products you will find all products available on the market with an official CNK number and of which at least one image or description is available. These products are visible to every platform user. You cannot make any changes to them yourself. However, you can change the price at “Sales channel MT.vision (TV screens)” and “Sales channel MT.shop (Webshops)”.
  • In custom products you will find a list of all the products that your company makes itself. Here you can create your own products and change all the information. Your own products are only visible to your company.
  • At the page “Sales channel MT.vision (TV screens)” you decide which public and private products you want to use via the platform and in the presentations. When creating a presentation, you can only use products from this selection, not from all products.
  • At the page “Sales Channel MT.shop (Webshops)” you make a selection of all the public and private products that you want to offer in the webshop. When creating the webshop, you can only offer products from this selection, not from all products.

You can see an overview of all the public products of your pharmacy via Products > Public products. Here you see all public products with CNK, image, name, price incl. VAT, promotional price, VAT rate, status, country, industry and EAN codes.

  • Via the search function: enter a term by which you want to search for the public product. You can search on CNK, image, name, brand, public price and promotional price.
  • Via the filters: click on the filter symbol next to the search field. This will bring up a field in which you can type a keyword/search phrase. You can also combine multiple filters from different search fields.

You can see the detail page of a public product by going to the overview of available public products, searching for the specific product using the search function or the filters, and then clicking on it. Here you will find four tabs with information about the product: “All product content”, “Media”, “Descriptions” and “Logistics and pricing”.

An overview of all your pharmacy’s own products can be seen via Products > Custom products. Here you see all created custom products with CNK, image, name, price incl. VAT, promotional price, VAT rate, status, country, industry and EAN codes.

You can create your own product via Products > Custom products > Create custom product. Then fill in all the information fields for the product. With the category tree structure that we offer, you can divide your product into several predefined categories. Add the desired images to the product. There are three types of images you can upload: “Frontals”, “Packshots” and “Other images”. A frontal image shows the front of the product and is necessary for a credible product wall. You can only provide this by displaying the product on a transparent background. That’s why the frontal images can only be delivered in .png format. For packshots and other images you can deliver images in both .png format and .jpeg format.

You can delete a custom product through the detail page. You can see the detail page by going to the overview of custom products, searching for the specific product using the search function or the filters, and then clicking on it. Here, in the upper right corner, you will find the options to modify or delete the custom product.

It is possible to change the default price of a product at “Sales channel MT.vision (TV screens)” and “Sales channel MT.shop (Webshops)”, you cannot do this at the product selections. Go to the overview of all selected products at “Sales channel MT.vision (TV screens)” and “Sales channel MT.shop (Webshops)” to adjust the price of a product. You do this by clicking on the current price incl. VAT and entering the desired price.

 

It is possible to adjust the promotional price of a product at “Sales channel MT.vision (TV screens)” and “Sales channel MT.shop (Webshops)”, you cannot do this at the product selections. Go to the overview of all selected products at “Sales channel MT.vision (TV screens)” and “Sales channel MT.shop (Webshops)” to adjust the promotional price of a product. You do this by clicking on the current promotional price and entering the desired price.

Within the “Products” category, you record product selections. You make selections from public and custom products, and then add them to the appropriate sales channel. At the page “Sales channel MT.vision (TV screens)” you determine which products you want to use for your pharmacy via the platform and in the presentations. You can change the current selection by clicking on the button “Edit MT.vision selection (TV screens)”. Here you can choose which categories you want to show. Under “Refine” you will find further subcategories. It is also possible to select which products you want to add to your own selection via “Manufacturers”.

The third main category on the platform includes media. At this page you will find all uploaded media files within your company.

Go to the overview of all media files within your company. You can use the “Upload” button to upload all your media. It is possible to add .jpg, .png, .pdf, .mov and .mp4 files. You can do this by clicking on the upload field and selecting a file from your computer, or dragging the file onto the page.

Media files from producers and suppliers are automatically found in your company’s media library. You can automatically use them when creating presentations, blogs, pages,…

  • You are a company manager: when you create a media file, it is automatically shared with all branches of your company.
  • You are a branch manager: you can share a media file with the entire company via Media > Detail page media file > Sharing > Edit > Share with parent company

You can share a media file with another company via Media > Media file detail page > Sharing > Edit > Share with other companies. Here you will see all the sharing groups your company is a part of. Select which group you want to share the media file with.

You can share a slideshow with another company via Presentations > Slideshows > Share > Edit > Share with other companies. Here you see all the sharing groups your company is a part of. Select which group you want to share the slideshow with.
