Pages management

Lochting works with predefined pages that can be customized. At the moment there is no functionality for pharmacists to create their own pages on the platform.

You can expand your webshop by editing pages via Webshop > Content > Pages. Click on the page you want to edit or on the edit icon.

  • Step 1: Set the status of the page to active or inactive.
  • Step 2: Fill in the page title.
  • Step 3: Add widgets to the page. These are the different blocks you can place on the page to customize. You can choose from the following widgets to add to your page: tile, textarea, opening hours, prescription form, product list, category list, carousel and blog article list.
  • Step 4: Fill in the heading: this is the title of the page.
  • Step 5: Fill in the meta title: the title of a page. The meta title is visible in the search engine (eg Google, Bing) and in the tab of the browser. This is important for your webshop to rank high in the organic search results of a search engine.
  • Step 6: Enter the meta description: the description of the content of the page. This is visible in the search engine under the title.

Widgets are the different blocks you can place on a page to customize. You can choose from the following widgets to add to your page: tile, textarea, opening hours, prescription form, product list, category list, carousel and blog article list.

Widget

You can move a field by dragging the bar on the side. This allows you to create multiple fields and add multiple widgets side by side.

To add a widget, click on the plus at the top of the box and choose tile. With the tile widget, you have the choice between a button and banner.

  • Buttons are used to direct website visitors to other pages. For the button, you can add a title and description of the page. Then choose the title that appears on the button, and add the link that opens when users click the button.

  • Add a banner if you want to select an image to display on the page. Selects the image you want to use in the banner. With the banner, you can also add a title and description in a box. In this box you can then add a title and link button. This box can be centered on the left, right or center of the banner.

To add a widget, click on the plus sign at the top of the box and select opening hours. You can also add an image here to appear to the left or right of the opening hours.Opening hours widget

To add a widget, click the plus at the top of the box and choose prescription form. By adding the prescription form to a page, a patient can upload prescriptions electronically.

You don’t have to change anything else. The form will be placed on your webshop:

Click on the plus sign at the top of the box to add a widget and select product list. First add a title, and then search for the desired products via the search filter: enter a term, CNK,… on which you want to search. You can change the order in which the products are displayed by dragging them in the “Order of products” list.

Product list

To add a widget, click on the plus sign at the top of the box and choose category list. From Category list you can add an overview of different categories. Enter the title and choose the desired categories. You can select these via our tree structure via various predefined categories. The order in which the categories are displayed can be changed by dragging them in the “Category order” list.

Category widget

To add a widget, click on the plus sign at the top of the box and choose carousel. A website carousel allows you to display multiple images or content in a single space. You can add a title, description, image and button. Choose whether the button is centred on the left, right or centre. To add a new tile to the carousel, click the plus sign in the bottom right corner. In the bottom left corner you have the possibility to navigate between the different tiles of the carousel.

Carousel widget

To add a widget, click on the plus sign at the top of the box and choose news article. Enter the title and choose the desired blogs to display. Here you can choose from the blogs created in the Webshops > Content > Public news articles. The order in which the blogs are displayed can be changed by dragging them in the “Order of news articles” list.

The slug is the part that comes after your domain name in the URL. This identifies an individual page of your webshop.

Example: When your article is about protecting your skin and using sunblock, the slug can be: tips-for-protecting-your-skin.

Slug

  • Meta title: the title of a page. The meta title is visible in the search engine (e.g. Google, Bing) and in the browser tab. This is important for your webshop to rank high in the organic search results of a search engine.
  • Meta description: the description of the content of the page. This is visible in the search engine (e.g. Google, Bing) under the title.

Meta

You can create, edit and manage news articles for your web shop via Webshops > Content > News.

  • Step 1: Select whether the news article is active or inactive
  • Step 2: Select the language.
  • Step 2: Fill in the title and subtitle of the article
  • Step 3: Choose the image: this image will appear next to your news article in the overview of all your articles.
  • Step 4: Write the short intro: this summary of your article will appear in the overview of all your articles.
  • Step 5: Write your article: you can format this text according to your own wishes. Keep in mind the different heading tags. Use “Body text” for the main content of your article. H1 is the first heading of a page, this way you only set one main heading. H2 and H3 are the subheads of paragraphs and subsections. You can use several of these in your text though.
  • Step 6: Fill in the slug: the part that comes after your domain name in the URL. This identifies an individual page of your webshop.
